It is with great pleasure that I write this testimonial on behalf of Master Keith. I had the pleasure of meeting Keith while he was doing charity work on behalf of the poor. Keith was a tireless worker who found great pleasure helping those in need. From this experience I learned that Keith was a Master in the Martial Arts. I was recently retired at the time having spent the majority of my career as a State and local Prosecutor and finally retiring as a Judge. These professions made me acutely aware of the dangers present in today’s society. With this in mind I retained Master Keith to train me in basic self defense. I previously had no training whatsoever. Within a few sessions, Master Keith had trained me to a level where is was confident in my ability to extricate myself from unwanted situations. Keith was an understanding and professional instructor. He possessed a unique ability to see my strengths and weaknesses and tailor my training to support my strengths and cover my weaknesses. Within a few more sessions I felt confident in my abilities to be on the offense should that ever become necessary. It is without hesitation that I recommend anyone train with Master Keith. He has the knowledge and commitment to make any individual, regardless of experience a better performer in the martial arts and a better person in general

I have had the opportunity to train under Master Keith Huryk for over 12 years, and throughout that time, he has had a significant impact on my development as a martial artist and as a person. When I started training with Master Kieth, I was six years old, and taekwondo was something that I wanted to start doing for fun. I stuck with it and over the years, I continued to train under Master Keith. His clear dedication to the craft and willingness to work with me when I struggled with something was motivational. As an instructor, Master Keith was firm when necessary, and always fair. It was a pleasure to train with somebody who clearly showed a desire to watch his students improve. Master Keith worked with me from when I was a White Belt all the way past Black Belt, and although I have had to step away from martial arts to go off to college, I will always take pride in being able to say that I had a mentor as strong-willed and disciplined as Master Keith. As I previously mentioned, Master Keith has not only had a significant impact on my martial arts training, but me as a person. I was only six years old when I started training with Master Keith, and in the time that has since passed, the lessons I learned from him have extended far beyond the taekwondo studio and have had a meaningful impact on my life. Through his guidance, I have developed a greater sense of discipline, perseverance, and confidence, qualities that I have been able to apply not only in training but also in my education, relationships, and everyday life. I am incredibly grateful for the impact Master Keith has had on my life, and I know that the lessons and values he has taught me will continue to stay with me for the rest of my life.

Having the opportunity to train under Master Keith Huryk for 12 years has been quite the honor. Under his instruction, I have learned and progressed, not just in the art of taekwondo, but in many other aspects that I carry with me throughout my daily life. I started training with Master Keith when I was seven because my grandma had wanted me to learn how to protect myself after my father’s passing. From the moment I stepped into class, I knew that I was in it for the long run and it was clear that Master Keith would put his entire heart into class every week to make sure that everyone was given the same opportunity to grow and develop. Any time I had an issue with something during class, he would make sure to go over it until I understood to make sure that I was preforming to my best ability. He also curated an environment that allowed for fun but also stayed disciplined and fair when needed. Master Keith has also played a large part in my life outside of taekwondo. Since training under him, I have learned the art of patience, discipline, and perseverance, which are qualities that I use in my everyday life, especially now that I have taken a break from class to start my college studies. Master Keith has always been there for me, even when times have gotten rough in my life and has been an avid listener and mentor throughout and giving me tools such as meditation practices that I use in my daily routine to help destress and clear my mind after a long day. Through his instruction, I have grown as a martial artist, but more importantly as a person. I have been able to improve my education, relationships, and overall quality of life under his guidance. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity given to me to train under Master Keiths instruction and for the impact he has had on my everyday life for the past decade and for more years to come.
